Using Kumiau

These terms govern your use of Kumiau (“Kumiau,” “we,” “us”) at kumiau.com. By using Kumiau, you agree to them.
What Kumiau is
Kumiau is a hosting platform for sharing and collaborating on prototypes: you upload a prototype, share it with specific people or by link, and control whether they can view it or leave comments. You can optionally connect an MCP-compatible coding agent so it can read feedback and publish new revisions on your behalf.
Your account
You sign in through Clerk using email and password, Google, or GitHub. You’re responsible for activity that happens under your account, including any coding agent you connect to it, and for keeping your chosen sign-in method secure.
Your content
You retain ownership of the prototypes and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, transmit, and display it solely to provide the service to you and the people you’ve explicitly shared it with. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, aside from brief backup copies kept during that process. We don’t claim ownership of your content and don’t use it to train models or for any purpose beyond operating Kumiau for you.
Sharing and collaborators
You control who can view or comment on each prototype. You’re responsible for who you invite. People you’ve granted access to are bound by these terms with respect to their use of the prototype and its feedback threads.
Connected agents
Connecting a coding agent authorizes it to act within the access your account already has and the scopes you approve when connecting it — it never grants access beyond what you could do yourself, and you can revoke it at any time from Connected clients. You’re responsible for the actions a connected agent takes on your behalf.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Kumiau to:
- Upload content that’s illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or contains malicious code intended to harm people outside the sandboxed prototype-viewing environment itself.
- Attempt to bypass or defeat the access controls that enforce who can view or comment on a prototype.
- Use the service to send spam or unsolicited bulk email.
Termination
You can delete your prototypes or your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms or misuse the service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Kumiau is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kumiau isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes
We may update these terms or the service over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
